Equity

  • Engage with a Verification Agency to obtain a B-BBEE certificate/affidavit.
  • Implement preferential procurement policies to support compliant suppliers.

Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)

Development of OHS policies and procedures, risk assessments, training, and maintenance of legally required documentation (like OHS files) to ensure a safe and healthy working environment and avoid penalties.


  • Conduct comprehensive workplace risk assessments to identify hazards.
  • Develop written OHS policies and procedures (e.g., emergency evacuation plan, COVID-19 policy, fire safety plan).
  • Appoint an OHS Representative/Committee and provide necessary training.
  • Maintain a compliant OHS file with all mandatory documentation, meeting minutes, and inspection records.
  • Ensure necessary first-aid facilities are available.
  • Register with the Compensation Fund and submit annual Return of Earnings (ROE) to remain in good standing with the COID Commissioner.
